Anyone can create content, but creating valuable, relevant, quality content takes time, effort, energy, resources, and knowledge.

Print Production

In order to deliver your newsletter on time, all changes to your clinic information must be submitted by the deadline.


Changes deadline: Monday 5 February 2024

Edition:  Autumn 2024 (March/April/May)


All changes to your content must be received by our office no later than 12 noon (AWST) on Friday 3 November 2023.

We recommend submitting your request early to allow time for proof checking and any further changes that may be required.

Upcoming production deadlines can be found below. Deadlines are advised in advance with each newsletter delivery and a reminder email is also sent approximately one week prior to.

All changes must reach our office no later than midday (AWST) on the changes deadline date. Once the deadline has passed your file is closed so it can be finalised and sent to the printer, and we are unable to process any further changes for the edition in production.
All changes received after the deadline will be made for the following edition.

CHANGES TO TEXT
All changes to copy can be made via our online changes and proofing tool. Alternatively they may be supplied in a typed format eg, within an email, word or text document. Handwritten or faxed content will not be accepted.

SUPPLYING IMAGES
Yes, you can include images and photographs as part of your clinic content. Common use includes your logo, any relevant accreditation or membership logos, photos of staff and of current events or topics included in your content.

SOURCE FILE SPECIFICATIONS
Images and graphics require a high-resolution in order to print clearly and with clean lines. Low resolution images can appear blurry or smudged.

LOGOS/GRAPHICS
Ideally these files should be vector-based. The designer or firm who created your logo/graphic should be able to supply a vector image.
File type: .ai, .eps or .pdf
Otherwise:
Preferred file types: .jpg or .tif (not .bmp, .gif or .png)
Minimum resolution: 300dpi
File size: 1MB minimum
   
PHOTOS
Should not be embedded in another file, eg – inserted in an email or word document.
Preferred file types: .jpg or .tif (not .bmp, .gif or .png)


Change requests should be submitted via our online changes and proofing tool. You will have received an invitation to review your current information approximately three weeks before the deadline.

Alternatively you may email your changes to changes@yourvet.com.au.

You will receive an automated reply which confirms we have received your request. If you do not receive an immediate email confirmation, please call to let us know

There is no guarantee that requests for changes that are late or sent to another email address will be fulfilled.
